The Manta Queen Fleet, operated by Khao Lak Scuba Adventures (a PADI 5 Star CDC centre), is a fleet of seven dedicated liveaboard vessels exploring Thailand's premier dive destinations in the Andaman Sea. Departing from Khao Lak, the boats run 3, 4 and 5 day / night safaris to the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, the Surin Islands and the world-famous Richelieu Rock, plus the Boon Sung Wreck.
These trips deliver up to 19 world-class dives across granite boulder swim-throughs, dramatic pinnacles and vibrant soft-coral reefs, with regular encounters with manta rays, whale sharks, leopard sharks, reef sharks and an extraordinary variety of macro life. The fleet holds all necessary marine-park permits for the Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock.
Each wooden-hulled vessel accommodates around 20-22 guests in a choice of air-conditioned cabins (twin and double, ensuite and non-ensuite, plus shared bunk cabins) and is run by a full team of PADI-certified dive guides and instructors alongside an experienced boat crew. Onboard you'll find a comfortable saloon with HD-TV, an open dining area serving freshly cooked buffet-style Thai and Western meals, a large sundeck, and a tender for beach visits. Nitrox is available, along with EAN and a wide range of PADI courses from Open Water to Advanced, Deep and Speciality levels. Free Wi-Fi, drinking water, tea, coffee and snacks between dives are included, with shared Phuket-Khao Lak transfers on departure and return days.
