La Galigo Liveaboard
La Galigo is a traditional Indonesian phinisi built in 2012 by craftsmen in Bira, Southern Sulawesi, using ironwood and teak in the centuries-old Bugis shipbuilding tradition. The 33m x 8m vessel offers 7 cabins across three classes (Deluxe, Master and Suite), a soundproofed engine room for quieter nights, a large restaurant/bar with a 48-inch flat-screen TV, and a sundeck with a shaded table for 16. La Galigo runs guided dive liveaboard trips through Komodo National Park, Raja Ampat, Lembeh, Halmahera and the Bangka-Sangihe archipelago, built around safety, comfort and a passion for the ocean.
