Khao Lak Explorer Diving Center: Similan Islands Liveaboard & Day Trips Richelieu Rock

Khao Lak Explorer is a PADI 5-star dive center and resort in Khao Lak, Thailand, founded in 2010 by a group of dive instructors. It runs liveaboard cruises of 2 to 5 days to the Similan Islands National Park, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock, departing from Khao Lak or Phuket, alongside speedboat day trips, snorkeling trips and PADI courses. Liveaboards depart in the evening so guests wake up at the islands ready to dive. The company also runs a small dive resort near Khao Lak center with 8 air-conditioned rooms and two swimming pools, used by guests before and after trips. Diving season runs mid-October to mid-May, when the Similan Islands National Park is open to the public.
