Hammerhead II is a 45m, five-deck Red Sea liveaboard with 16 double cabins for guests (plus 2 for dive guides and 4 crew cabins). She runs two water desalination units (7 cubic metres/day each), two 8-tonne fresh water tanks, two 180-litre water heaters and a central air-conditioning system rated at 75hp. The panoramic living and dining area offers sea views from every seat, while the third deck and sun deck have comfortable couches, a jacuzzi and a mini bar. The scuba gear deck has 36 slots for dive and kite equipment plus two dedicated guest bathrooms. Safety equipment includes an EFR first-aid kit, an oxygen tank, three 20-person life rafts, a fire suppression system, radar, GPS and VHF; propulsion is by twin 1,400hp main engines with two speedboats and an extra Zodiac. Hammerhead II sails weekly Red Sea diving safaris covering the wrecks and reefs of the north (Abu Nuhas, SS Thistlegorm, Ras Mohammed, Tiran) and the south (Brothers, Daedalus, Elphinstone, Zabargad, Sataya, Saint John's).
