BLUE (formerly Fun Azul Maldives) is an 11-cabin liveaboard operated by Fun Azul Fleet, cruising the Maldivian atolls year-round in search of whale sharks and manta rays. Built in 2019 and refit in 2020, the 41m mother boat carries up to 22 guests across Deluxe, Master and Ocean View cabins on three decks, all with private bathrooms and A/C, plus a sun deck with jacuzzi and pool/water slide. A support doni boat handles diving with nitrox available onboard. Routes typically run from North and South Male Atoll through Ari Atoll to Rasdhoo Atoll for mantas, whale sharks and hammerheads, with seasonal Equatorial and Baa Atoll routes for those wanting less-visited sites and manta aggregations. Experienced guides run small groups, and the chef prepares Asian, European, Maldivian and Japanese meals, with a bar and occasional beach dinners rounding out the trip.
