Calipso
Calipso is a 35.4 m Galapagos liveaboard yacht based out of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, San Cristobal, completely rebuilt from the keel up in 2018-2019. She carries 16 divers across 8 en-suite double cabins (convertible to single beds), each with individual climate control, TV, safe and hairdryer, plus a dedicated dive deck with rinse tank, camera table and dry storage, and a sundeck with a jacuzzi. Weekly departures run a 7-night/8-day circuit taking in the shark-rich waters of Darwin and Wolf as well as the western islands (Marchena, Cabo Douglas, Cabo Marshall, Punta Vicente Roca), with the operator noting the route mix varies seasonally. Calipso alternates diving weeks with naturalist (non-diving) cruises and offers land, Andes and Amazon extensions for guests staying on.
