M/Y Amelie is a boutique Red Sea liveaboard based in Hurghada, Egypt, designed for intimate groups of up to 12 guests. Originally built in 1995 at the Alexandria shipyards and comprehensively renovated in 2025, she blends classic Egyptian maritime craftsmanship with modern comfort: an indoor saloon, sun deck, outdoor dining area, library and a purpose-built dive deck, cared for by a dedicated local and international crew. Amelie Safari runs Red Sea diving safaris out of Hurghada along the "Best of Hurghada" route, visiting the Abu Nuhas wreck graveyard (Giannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K, Kimon M and the Wreck of Balena), the wild dolphin pods of Shaab El Erg (Dolphin House), and the reefs of the Giftun Islands and Carless Reef.
