Amaya Explorer Liveaboard
Amaya Explorer is a 2019-built, 115-foot (35m) traditional Phinisi schooner hand-crafted by boatbuilders in Bulukumba, Sulawesi using generations-old, entirely hand-tooled techniques, then fitted out in Bali for modern comfort. She spends 11 months a year roaming Indonesia's Coral Triangle - Komodo, Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea and Alor - hosting up to 16 guests across 8 en-suite cabins: two upper-deck Main cabins with sea views, four amidships Deluxe cabins and two forward Standard cabins, all air-conditioned with organic Sensatia toiletries. Onboard she carries a dedicated digital lounge for camera and drone gear, a Bauer compressor with nitrox, and a crew of 18 who have hosted guests alongside whale sharks, hammerhead schools, manta rays, mola mola and more beyond the diving itself - snorkelling, paddleboarding, freediving and village visits round out the trips.
