NITROX
  Recreational Diving: Courses

As we already know from the course Diver NDL, the main components of air are nitrogen and oxygen. The nitrogen in the periodic table of the international nomenclature is denoted by the letter N, oxygen is denoted by the letter O. The mixture of these gases has been called Nitrox. A Nitrox gas mix with a content of 21% oxygen and 79% nitrogen is called air. In diving, Nitrox with increased oxygen content from 22% to 40% is commonly used. Why dive with Nitrox? The increase in the percentage of oxygen in the breathing mix and, consequently, a decrease in nitrogen content allows the diver to spend more time at depth. In other words, the less nitrogen, the less saturation in human tissue and the lower the risk of decompression sickness. In addition to increasing the time limits at depth, while breathing oxygen-enriched gas, divers have the opportunity to do more dives with shorter surface intervals between dives. Using a Nitrox mix with a higher oxygen content reduces the risk of nitrogen narcosis. Your instructor will teach you how to plan dives using enriched air. Welcome to the course NDL Nitrox Diver! The Course NDL Nitrox Diver allows you to get knowledge needed for the use of nitrogen-oxygen breathing gas Nitrox. Anyone with an Open Water certification can participate in this course. The theoretical part contains information on the dangers and peculiarities of using the breathing mix Nitrox. The practical part consists of the development of skills for diving with Nitrox. After completing the course, students receive a certificate NDL Nitrox Diver. The qualification NDL Nitrox Diver allows the diver: to plan dives using tanks with a mixture of Nitrox; increase the number of daily dives and reduce surface intervalls
